What is BOPP film?

BOPP film is biaxially oriented polypropylene film. It is stretched in two directions to improve clarity, stiffness, tensile strength, and dimensional stability for packaging, label, overwrap, and lamination work.

Buyers usually compare BOPP film by thickness, haze, gloss, COF, corona treatment, heat-seal need, roll width, core diameter, winding direction, printing method, and final application. A snack overwrap, label face stock, matte pouch layer, and tape film will not use the same specification.

For an RFQ, send the target use, thickness or micron range, roll width, roll length or weight, surface treatment, sealability need, printing or lamination process, sample quantity, destination country, and required documents. If the project needs higher heat resistance, stronger barrier, or dimensional stability, compare BOPP with PET film before approving samples.
