Export documents are most useful when buyer and supplier agree on them before the shipment is booked. This checklist helps packaging-material buyers align commercial paperwork, product records and destination-specific requests early in the process.

Commercial and shipment records

Typical planning items include the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill details, shipment marks, consignee wording, purchase-order reference and Incoterm. Origin paperwork may be required depending on the destination and trade route.

Product and quality paperwork

A buyer may request the relevant technical data sheet, approved specification, certificate-of-analysis format, roll or lot traceability record and product declarations where applicable. Availability depends on the selected grade, application and destination market.

Before the shipment

Confirm document language, deadlines for draft files, palletization, container-loading needs and any import instructions before booking. This avoids a last-minute document mismatch after production is complete.

For technical planning, see the BOPP film technical datasheet, PET film specification sheet and thermal paper technical specifications.

Need a project-specific recommendation?

Share the application, target specification, quantity and destination. The material discussion can then focus on the right sample, roll build and document requirements.
