Use this practical reference while preparing your material brief, sample request or quotation comparison.

Download PDFDiscuss a material requirement

A useful film quotation begins with a complete project brief. This checklist helps buyers, converters and distributors collect the details a supplier needs to recommend a suitable grade and quote the right roll configuration.

What to include in the request

  • End use and packed product
  • Material family or existing laminate structure
  • Thickness, width, roll length or roll weight, core and maximum outer diameter
  • Print, lamination, heat-seal, barrier or appearance requirements
  • Trial quantity, recurring demand, destination and delivery timing
  • Sample, technical sheet and destination-market document needs

Why this matters

When the application and roll geometry are clear, a buyer can compare quotations on the same basis. It also reduces avoidable rework during sample approval, because the converting line, roll direction and inspection points are stated early.

Use it with the product page

For a specific material, pair this checklist with the relevant BOPP film, PET film, CPP film or barrier film page. The final grade, tolerance and documents are confirmed against the approved sample and purchase specification.

Need a project-specific recommendation?

Share the application, target specification, quantity and destination. The material discussion can then focus on the right sample, roll build and document requirements.
