Packaging film, thermal paper and label-material projects move faster when the commercial request and the technical brief are reviewed together. This page explains how a material request is checked, quoted, sampled and confirmed for repeat supply.
Quotation Review
- Submit the project brief. Include the material, application, quantity, target country and any known dimensions or performance requirement.
- Review the technical details. The material role, thickness or basis weight, width, roll geometry, treatment or coating, print or sealing needs and required documents are checked against the intended application.
- Confirm the commercial basis. The quotation is prepared around the selected grade, order quantity, roll configuration, packing method, delivery term and destination.
- Plan the sample. The sample route is agreed before dispatch so the buyer knows what is being evaluated and how it should be checked.
- Approve the working specification. After the relevant sample or trial is reviewed, the confirmed material, dimensions, inspection points and document requirements become the reference for production planning.
Sample Policy
Sample availability, dispatch timing and the applicable sample format are confirmed for each project because they depend on the requested grade, size, current material availability and the technical purpose of the trial.
- Stock samples: when a suitable material is available, a sample may be prepared from the applicable stock format for initial evaluation.
- Custom samples: a made-to-spec trial may need additional preparation, converting or approval steps. Any applicable processing cost is confirmed before the work begins.
- Courier arrangements: courier routing and the related charge are confirmed in the quotation or sample confirmation for the destination.
- Evaluation scope: samples are used to review the agreed material attributes on the intended converting, printing, lamination or packing process where relevant.
- Production reference: a sample is not automatically a final production specification. The confirmed order specification, agreed inspection plan and approved artwork or structure remain the production reference.
